Fall it’s in the air….

Finally this morning it was a cool & crisp 60 degrees. That put me in the mood to bake. First up Sugar & Spice Muffins. I love this recipe because of how I came upon it. Once upon a time long ago when Andrew was all alone raising three precious children his cooking skills weren’t all that creative. So lots of pizza, hot dogs & breakfast for dinner. So naturally we had pancake mix coming out of our ears. I don’t much like wasting food but we could have made pancakes every day for months and months and months. So to Google I went to try & find what else I could possible make with pancake mix other than pancakes & waffles of course. And Google did not fail me I found tons of stuff I could make using pancake mix but this one was our favorite. Don’t get me wrong Andrew’s pancakes and waffles are very, very, very yummy! (Yes, he reads my blog posts!)

Next up Chocolate Chip Cookies cuz baking just ain’t baking without cookies & cake my opinion anyway. This isn’t your store bought cookie dough though homemade all the way. The kids want to know how I cook them without burning the bottom I tell them with my secret ingredient LOVE. I don’t think they believe me but they will use that line with their kids one day.
