We survived.....

The first official week of school that is. Troy & Andrew have gotten into the 6th grade grind it’s still considered elementary at their school so they aren’t doing the switching classes thing. They are defiantly enjoying it. Savannah & Jade were a bit nervous about their schedules at first. Junior High can be scary at first, I know it was for me, but they are adjusting to their classes. Funny that they do not have one single class together I guess their school thought they see each other enough at home lol. Not too much homework this week but I’m sure that will change soon enough. Andrew & I did attend open house on Wednesday for them. It was pretty fun they had us to go through the girls Wednesday schedule and we were able to meet their teachers and get a small overview of what is expected of them and us. So far so good on the Junior High front. Frank’s first week makes me tired up early, school, football practice, homework then sleep. No thank you I wouldn’t do High School over if you paid me.

Last year I made Savannah, Jade, Troy & Andrew lunch to take to school everyday. Hot lunch from school can be a bit iffy at times and it’s very portion controlled these days. Yes my children are on the bigger side of the scale you will hear no apologies from me. I decided this year I will take pictures and post them on my site and on Pinterest you never know when a stressed out mommy may need some ideas. Here was this weeks lunch hope you enjoy!
