For the Armenta Family this was very true we are more of a California family beaches, theme parks, etc. Don’t get me wrong there was plenty of walking, hiking and learning on this trip. Our first stop was the Besh Ba Gowah Ruins Museum in Globe, AZ where we learned about the Salado Culture. We had the opportunity to walk the largest archaeological site and see some of the artifacts in their museum. Next we were on our way to Montezuma Castle National Monument where we learned about the Sinagua people and the 20 room high-rise apartment on the side of a cliff. Last stop of the day was check in at the Ridge On Sedona Golf Resort where we grilled hot dogs and relaxed pool side the rest of the day.
Day two was just as busy first stop the Chapel of the Holy Cross this church was absolutely beautiful although it was a long hike up the hill. Next we were on our way to Cathedral Rock Trail this I will say was my favorite hike because at the end of it was the lake and you know I didn’t miss the opportunity to get in. Then we went to V Bar V Ranch where we saw their hieroglyphics and finally we hit downtown Sedona where we enjoyed their beautiful shops.
Day three we journeyed home all a little burnt and very tired. Overall we had a fabulous time click the link below to enjoy our pictures.
