My Birthday Weekend

Nobody likes getting older I suppose I'll cry when I turn 40 seeing as that’s still four years from now I had a lovely birthday weekend. On Saturday I enjoyed a fabulous brunch at Chili’s with a very dear friend. The lovely staff sang Happy Birthday to me and gave me ice cream how very sweet. Andrew baked me a German Chocolate Cake he did a great job. For dinner we had Spam, Bacon & Cheddar Cheese burgers with homemade French fries. Don’t knock it until you try it they are very yummy! Andrew & the children did an awesome job with decorations I have taught them well. I’ll have to say the gifts were the best Andrew gave me a cast iron skillet which not only have I been wanting forever but it will come in handy next weekend for Father’s Day when I fry up that yummy chicken. He also got me a Hamilton Beach Deep Fryer I think I can have some real fun seeing what I can deep fry. The boys gave me 2 books “A Series of Unfortunate Events, The End" the last book in the series I didn’t have & “the short life of bree tanner an eclipse novella” if you are a Twilight fan like me then you know. The girls gave me a summer dress and homemade jewelry. I had such a fabulous birthday Andrew & the children did a wonderful job they get an A in my book.
